How a Farmer's Dream Became India's Organic Revolution

2013

The Seed — 2013

SPC was sown as a seed on 17 April 2013 in Rajakkad, Idukki. Founded by farmer-entrepreneur N.R. Jaimon, it launched with one mission: Make India Organic.

The Soil Crisis

Chemical overuse devastated Kerala's farmland. Organic carbon dropped to 0.5% (vs 3% needed). The Endosulfan catastrophe in Kasargod was our final warning.

Incorporated in Rajakkad, Idukki. Inaugurated by Hon. Minister P.J. Joseph. Research wing constituted with pioneers.

2015 - 2016

BioPower Launch

Launched India's first fat+protein bio-fertilizer. Systematic soil testing launched at panchayat level across Kerala.

2019

National Awards

KarshakaMitra Award & Shashi Tharoor's Organic Farming Campaigner Award. Recognised for massive women empowerment projects.

2023

Prana Store Network

Launched 20,000 stores across Kerala. Created a hub for women entrepreneurs to sell organic groceries and essentials.
